Boulder Nonlinear Systems Announces New Capabilities for Improved Performance in Nematic Spatial Light Modulators

LAFAYETTE, Colorado | October 10, 2014

Boulder Nonlinear Systems (BNS) is pleased to announce the development of two new R&D capabilities for improved performance in nematic spatial light modulators (SLMs)

  • OverdrivePlus is a software- or firmware-implemented technique for significantly increasing switching speeds of existing nematic SLMs.
  • Regional look-up tables (LUTs) are an improvement on the existing SLM calibration technique that improve the characterization and compensation of spatial variations in SLM response.
